WEATHER UPDATE
Due to the extreme cold temperatures forecasted for this weekend, the Viking Lakes Ice Festival will be cancelled beginning Thursday January 22, through Sunday, January 25. That concludes the Ice Festival portion of Winter SKOLstice. Ice Festival ticket holders for these dates will receive the option of a full refund or a $15 credit that can be used for food and beverage at future Winter SKOLstice events. Please email info@mvventures.com to let us know which option you prefer.
Winter SKOLstice, the 90-day celebration of Winter at Viking Lakes, continues through Sunday, February 22, with free programming Wednesday through Sunday each week. As a thank you to our guests, fans and community, the ice features, including the ice walk and ice sculptures, will remain in place and be accessible at no charge for as long as weather permits. The Speakeasy will remain open and publicly accessible for a limited time.
Highlights of Winter SKOLstice over the coming weeks include weekly Bingo Presented by Cocoa Classics, trivia and live music in the Warming Haus powered by Xfinity, nightly open skate on the Family Freeze Rink Kept Warm by Standard Heating, Skolmmelier Wine Tasting Presented by Duckhorn Vineyards, LaunchPad Golf Driving Range, Touch a Truck Presented by Republic Services, Winter Olympics activities and more.
